DocFast to Require Multi-Factor Authentication
iPipeline, a leading global provider of digital solutions for life insurance and financial services, recently announced a plan to move to multi-factor authentication (MFA) later this year.
Since Ash Brokerage uses single sign-on (SSO) to access iPipeline forms and electronic applications, the application process will not be impacted by these changes.
However, the electronic delivery of policies through DocFast requires users to log in and will be affected by the new policy once it rolls out. During this pre-release period, you may see a message on these pages, encouraging you to update your account. iPipeline is encouraging all users to verify their email address and, if possible, add their mobile numbers for easy future access to one-time MFA passcodes.
When MFA is enabled at a future date to be announced, the user will be asked to receive and enter a six-digit numeric one-time passcode. This passcode will be sent to the email address or the mobile phone number on the user’s account.
Advisors should watch for additional communications about the release of iPipeline’s multi-factor authentication.
